HVAC (Heating & Cooling)

Why is my furnace blowing cold air?

Common causes include thermostat settings, airflow restriction (dirty filter), ignition issues, or safety shutdowns. A diagnostic identifies the root cause and prevents repeat failures.

Why is my AC blowing warm air?

Warm air can be caused by airflow issues, refrigerant problems, electrical component failures, or thermostat/control issues. We’ll test the system and recommend the correct fix.

What should I do if my AC coil is frozen?

Turn the system OFF to prevent damage, run the fan to help thaw, replace the filter if dirty, and schedule service. Frozen coils are usually caused by low airflow or refrigerant issues.

Do you work on heat pumps?

Yes. We diagnose and repair heat pumps, including issues with mode switching, defrost cycles, airflow, controls, and refrigerant performance.

How often should I change my air filter?

Most homes benefit from changing filters every 1–3 months. If you have pets, allergies, or heavy dust, check monthly. A restricted filter can cause comfort issues and equipment strain.

What should I do if I have an active water leak?

Shut off the nearest fixture shutoff valve if possible. If the leak won’t stop, shut off the main water valve and call us right away.

Should I use chemical drain cleaners?

We generally recommend avoiding chemical drain cleaners. They can damage pipes and make repairs more difficult. We’ll use the right tools for the clog type and location.

Why is my water pressure low?

Low pressure can be caused by clogged aerators, valve issues, leaks, pressure regulators, or supply problems. We can diagnose and recommend the correct fix.

Duct Cleaning

How often should ducts be cleaned?

Many homes benefit every 3–5 years, but it depends on pets, remodeling, allergies, and duct condition. We can inspect and recommend honestly.

Will duct cleaning improve indoor air quality?

It can help when there is real debris buildup, especially after renovations or with heavy dust/pet hair. Filtration and duct sealing can matter even more—if that’s the real issue, we’ll tell you.

Will duct cleaning increase airflow?

If airflow is reduced by blockage or heavy buildup, yes. If airflow issues are caused by duct design or leakage, we’ll identify that too.
